Risk Warning

Trading carries substantial risk. Read this before acting on anything we publish.

Trading is risky

Trading forex, CFDs, cryptocurrencies, options, and other financial instruments carries a substantial risk of loss. A high percentage of retail traders lose money. Past performance — of an AI trading bot, of a strategy, of any platform reviewed on this site — is not indicative of future results.

AI trading bots specifically

The bots and platforms reviewed on this site are software. They can fail, behave unexpectedly during volatile market conditions, lose access to broker APIs, or deviate from their stated strategy without warning. Backtest performance is almost always better than live performance. Treat any "verified" performance number with skepticism unless you can independently audit the data.

Not financial advice

Nothing on this site is financial advice. We are a publication, not a regulated financial advisor. Our articles are informational. They are not personalized to your circumstances, risk tolerance, capital base, or jurisdiction. Always do your own research and consult a regulated financial advisor before making investment decisions.

Capital you can afford to lose

Only trade with capital you can afford to lose. Do not borrow money to trade. Do not allocate emergency-fund money to a trading bot, no matter how confident its marketing material sounds.

Regulatory status of platforms

We attempt to verify the regulatory status of every platform we review, and we cite the relevant register where possible. However, regulatory status can change. Always check the current register entry (FCA, ASIC, CySEC, SEC, FINRA, MAS, BaFin) before opening an account.

If you are in distress

If you are experiencing financial difficulty connected to trading losses, support is available. In the UK, the National Gambling Helpline (0808 8020 133) covers compulsive trading. In the US, the National Council on Problem Gambling helpline (1-800-522-4700) covers the same. Reaching out is not weakness.
